How to Restore Disappeared Data from iPhone iPad iPod after iOS 10/9 Upgrade

iOS 10 will be released in few months later, and after its release, new bugs come alone and some older bugs still have not fixed. Problems do exist when people update to the new iOS 10. One iPhone user wrote to me that during the update process, he lost some of his contacts, messages, photos and notes. He has an iTunes backup for his iPhone but he doesn’t want to restore the whole backup to his iPhone. He is wondering whether he could only restore the disappeared data from iTunes backup to his iPhone.

I don’t know how many people encountered with such a problem, however, what I can make sure is that there is a method to extract data from your iTunes backup and only restore the lost or deleted data to your iPhone after update to iOS 10/9.

Actually, as iOS 10 came into the market, many iOS 9 or iOS 8 users can’t wait to upgrade their iOS device for more convenience and new functions. It’s absolutely right that upgrading OS is a good choice, however, there’s also risk for you to take that the process may fail on the half way and as a result, your data will get lost. In order to restore only contacts, messages, photos and notes from iTunes backup to iPhone, you need a third party software named iOS 10/9 Data Recovery to help you.

iOS 10 Data Recovery is a well-known data recovery program for iPhone, iPad and iPod, which enables you to restore your deleted or lost data by extracting data directly out of iDevices, iTunes or iCloud backups. The app is 100% safe with no personal info leaking. What's more, you needn't worry about complex operations on your hanset or on computer. Just with one click, you can selectively choose your lost data for recovery from your device.

You can get it the trial version for free here!

  2. Microsoft is only inviting Windows Insiders to a preview program at the moment, but it's promising an App Store release. We wouldn't be surprised if there's an Android version soon after, for that matter. Between this, the Cortana release and existing cross-platform Microsoft apps, you won't have to suffer many Windows withdrawal symptoms at all in the future -- the biggest absence may simply be that tiled home screen.
